For you left coasters Schneider eggs are construction barrels. You know they're ready to hatch when you knock them over and find 2 dirt bags. And Quakies are also known as Birch or Aspen trees

After visiting Aerostitch in Duluth the plan was to take some pics in the area. Unfortunately Canada decided to share its smoke with us. It was lightly raining and smokey so couldn't see much. Schneider egg season is in full swing in the Duluth area. It was quite a challenge getting out and onto...

It's a BMW GS Adventure bike and you built an adventure trailer. It's built for short cuts like this RIGHT? Otherwise I would have bought one of those bikes that can't pass things like gas stations, bars or Harley shops.

The corn is boot high so it must be time to head out. Morning temp 68°f. Forecast to be 90° time to head North. We're taking a short cut to Montana. First stop will be Duluth. We made it to Cloquet, MN. Major storm coming in so decided to stop early. 1st long ride this year 402 miles. Getting...

    Bags on the Bike?

"Let me tell you a story about a man named Jed". I thought the trailer would be great. I can carry all the stuff and Sharon won't have to carry anything on her bike. As we're packing she wants her Mosko Reckless 80 mounted on her RS. Last year we lived off the bikes for a month and were just...

    Let them eat cake.

In highschool I weighed 135lbs soaking wet. I worked at a bike shop. My job was to assemble new bikes, clean and put on display. If it had a centerstand it was to be on the centerstand. So I learned a couple tricks on how to get a Goldwing on the centerstand. So from then on I've never had an...

My wife is tasked with making a wedding cake for her little brother in Montana. So instead of heading to Alaska as planned. We'll be taking the bikes to Montana for a wedding/family reunion. So the ADV1 will be loaded with cake making stuff. Keep tuned in for the ride. The nightmare... i mean...

    Jim’s Accessories Wishlist

This could easily be done. However as someone that has 3+ million miles pulling a trailer. This would be more of a PITA than it would be worth. Just backing the trailer behind the bike will test your patience. There's not a snowballs chance in a hot spot you could back it with a car. It's like...

Better yet drop Tiger in Chicago. Catch the California Zephyr to Osceola, Ia. Jump on Beemer with preloaded trailer and ride to Alaska.

How soon and how long do you need it? Sharon is itching for a long ride.

I'd like to see a frame mounted hitch for the Triumph tiger 900. That way O can carry the same trailer with 2 different bikes.

    Spragueville, Ia Spring dust off.

My buddy has a 2019 Klamata with green mosko as well. He has a blacked out windshield too.

You might want to drag a small generator along just in case.

    Weight/Balance Question

As a professional truckdriver I prefer to load a bit heavier on the front. In winter on the truck it adds traction and keeps the trailer in line. About 10 to 15% is enough.

Well, somebody's gotta jump in here first...

If we're talking March of 26. I might have to load up and head out there. Weather can be iffy between here and there in March. I'd love to ride out but there's those pesky Rocky mountains to worry about. Might have to drag it out with the truck. If that's the case I can fit 3 big bikes in my...
