We haven't caught up in a while have we :) I grew up in Alaska. Worst part is, I'm just outside Tahoe and it's 40 degrees and no precip, it's bloody gorgeous riding weather. And I'm in the truck :(

Not next door but, BIG BEND! Watch Kevin Costner's movie Fandango, then go. Take lots of gas with you, and go find the DOM rock :) It's a stretch from Hill Country but worth it IMNHO Also go soak in the waters of Balmorhea on teh way back to Hill country. Jealous!
