    Tiger tail

Well...funny you should mention that. In our long list of future plans, offering frame-mounted hitches for most bikes is toward the top! No plans as of yet, but if we had a Tiger 900, it would make that project much easier.

    Jim’s Accessories Wishlist

Oh, that's what those are called! I had to look it up. Umm...yeah...maybe phase 666 will include those! Definitely not phase 2! ;) But hey, we can't control the aftermarket!

    Jim’s Accessories Wishlist

One of my original mockups and our first prototype could carry spare tires near the hitch: But, we found that that length was not needed (actually, was a problem) and we dropped it. So, I agree it's an accessory that would be very helpful. Another use case is when someone is going from the...

R1250GSA w/ Bumot and Touratech 45Ltr Panniers and PASQ Shelves, Nanuk 938 Case and Igloo Cooler

A Super Ténéré love fest! One thing I love is all the nicknames it has! S10, Super10, Tenner, STen... I'm in this fan club as well. I bought a 2012 with a full set of Givi cases for $5500 about 6 years ago. Stupidly, it was the bike I learned to ride on. Not the best bike to have when you are...

    Weight/Balance Question

We've tested with lots of different weight distributions. The physics of the ADV1 seem to be quite different than, for example, a pickup pulling a camper. There are a ton of demo videos like this on keeping more weight in front of the axle: And when all is said and done with the ADV1, I...

    Bags on the Bike?

Hey all, As with anything you make that is customizable and send out into the world, what people do with it is surprising! I'm thinking, of course, of the ADV1 as well as some open source software my other company makes and people adapt. For the ADV1, so far, my #1 surprise is everyone is...

I'm excited to talk with Clearwater at the upcoming shows. I've never spoken with them, but at least two of our Beta Testers use the CANopener and love it. I know one of the beta testers daisy chained a CANopener and a Denali CANsmart with no problems at all.

    Jim’s Accessories Wishlist

Amazing feedback/ideas Jim. THANK YOU!!! One overall point is we want the ADV1 to be a platform that others can build ideas on. I've told a ton of people that have come to me with a accessory that if you want to make—and we think the product is well made, useful, and will not hurt the ADV1 or...

One of the accessories I've been thinking about would be simple J hook. Something like this: Three of those and you have a simple way to carry dry bags and all kinds of stuff on the side. They would be far less expensive than the shelf, but of course in it's cheapest form, they would not fold...
