R1250 GSA Pillion footpeg & lower pannier mount point issue?

Got my ADV1 today and figuring out how to add to the subframe.

I don't have the hand rail or pillion seat, both have been replaced by AltRider plates https://www.altrider.com/product/detail/pid/1137 & AltRider Pillion Luggage Rack for BMW R 1200 R 1250 GS /GSA Water Cooled - Silver. No known interference issues so far, but adding the side plates to the subframe has moved the pannier rack's lower attachment point down about 3/8ths & to the rear maybe 1/4". Has anyone else encountered this, and was there a solution? Oh, and cable ties are an excellent assembly aid. ;-)

We had a similar experience with our GS and everything went together fine. Please let us know if you find anything different!

Suggestion for the manual - for each step, provide a line drawing of the part(s) involved and superimpose them on where they need to be on the bike.
Suggestion for the parts (I know, it's a sh!t-ton more effort!!) - mark the bags of bolts/washers/nuts with what component they go with.

I'm not going to be able to fit the top brace because it's approx 3/8ths of an inch too long to fit between the plates and the drop-sides. I may have to visit a machine shop to shave 3/16ths off each side, then re-anodize & fit. Or do without, it seems pretty structurally sound. Thoughts??

I got the top brace installed but had to loosen the back AltRider plate, made more complicated by the fact that I've got the Innovv camera & GPS cabled to it, and the Clearwater Lights Jimmy Jr which is interfering with the bottom brace... and cables go thru other components... And now I'm thinking of how to run the trailer wires to the bike.... Yikes... head-explody!!
