    Let them eat cake.

My condolences to the family. Excellent idea. Don't take too long, my bobbin cover has melted. If there's a point of contact, I'd like to use it and get the set that Mr. Dowell had presumably set aside for me.

Well, I have met Tony, so you may be correct. :D I worked at Boeing from '89 - '95 in Seattle with a floor full of programmers, systems analysts, program leads, etc., and some of them were absolute fruitcakes jammed with nuts & such. Wild times.

Hi, Paul! Given that Mr. Dowell of Excel Moto Works is incommunicado and my bobbin is exposed to exhaust heat, could you remove your exhaust extension and provide a bunch of pics & measurements so I and a welder buddy could try to replicate? I'd love to buy one of Mr. Dowell's creations but...

Shelf or Rotopax or pannier installation instructions?

What is meant by "Front mount" hardware vs. the other hardware, and is there a preferred/ suggested methodology? Thanks!

R1250 GSA Pillion footpeg & lower pannier mount point issue?

And to get the trailer to connect to the bobbins, the rear crossbar for the pannier racks had to be completely removed... And don't blame me, the computer auto-rotated the pic 90degrees to the left! ;-)

I'm in the same boat, trailer is fully assembled after a few hiccups and now I need to chase wires and make sure the brakes & turn signals work for the DMV inspection (and safety, of course!).

R1250 GSA Pillion footpeg & lower pannier mount point issue?

I got the top brace installed but had to loosen the back AltRider plate, made more complicated by the fact that I've got the Innovv camera & GPS cabled to it, and the Clearwater Lights Jimmy Jr which is interfering with the bottom brace... and cables go thru other components... And now I'm...

I feel your pain(s), I went from an REI Passages II to a Redverz Atacama so I/we could stand up in it and take it car-camping with my wife. I just asked because where you had dinner also had cabins.

R1250 GSA Pillion footpeg & lower pannier mount point issue?

Suggestion for the manual - for each step, provide a line drawing of the part(s) involved and superimpose them on where they need to be on the bike. Suggestion for the parts (I know, it's a sh!t-ton more effort!!) - mark the bags of bolts/washers/nuts with what component they go with. I'm not...

R1250 GSA Pillion footpeg & lower pannier mount point issue?

Got my ADV1 today and figuring out how to add to the subframe. I don't have the hand rail or pillion seat, both have been replaced by AltRider plates https://www.altrider.com/product/detail/pid/1137 & AltRider Pillion Luggage Rack for BMW R 1200 R 1250 GS /GSA Water Cooled - Silver. No known...

Well, looks like Excell is kaput - Home Due to medical issues the shop will be closed until further notice. If you have placed an order, or tried to contact me in the last two weeks, please consider the order cancelled, sorry. Tom I guess I should have ordered a couple of months ago.

Assuming that's your tent at the end of the ADV1, is the location affecting your handling? Or is that the optimum location for it? Is weight evenly distributed front & rear, and what's mounted on the right-hand side? Yeah, many questions!! :D
