Just landed in Sequim WA for the next 6 days. Parked the bike 8ft from where the tent goes. Panniers fly open and in minutes it looks like we had to have had a gear-hauling chase truck.

Ahhh...off in the distance one hears the soft humm of air conditioners on land yachts.

Had the best Bristol Bay salmon sandwich, and salmon chowder at the Yellow Deli in South Bend. (the salmon is wild-caught)

Great it's 3 AM and now I want chowder...
Funny to see I'm not the only one with multiple helmets when travelling! Road touring, ADV and a skid lid incase I need a legal spare for a grocery run.

Assuming that's your tent at the end of the ADV1, is the location affecting your handling? Or is that the optimum location for it? Is weight evenly distributed front & rear, and what's mounted on the right-hand side? Yeah, many questions!! :D

Yep, 34lb tent on top at back. Rides better with weight biased towards the rear. Right side front has 25L pannier crammed with glamping gear, rt rear is Rotopax, 1gal fuel/1gal water.

At the Tillamook ice creamery, cuz....healthy choices.

Certainly TASTY choices! My dad grew up in Otis OR (very near Tillamook and the dairy) and has made sure our whole family is very brand loyal to Tillamook cheese and ice cream. The last time we were there we bought 40 or 50 year old cheddar (can't remember which), 30 year old, 10 year old, (from the factory store) and of course some recent batches and did a blind taste test. The older the cheese was, the more it tasted and felt like paramasean. Really good, but in an odd, not-cheddar way.

End of ride pic taken by a real nice couple from Canada we chatted with for an hour...motorcycles, UTV's, camping, food etc. Nice folks.
ADV1 did what we got it for...hauling camping gear. Repacking for a ride to the high desert in 2 weeks. Gonna try and tackle a THIRTY OUNCE, custom cut, grass-fed, steak at the Cowboy Dinner Tree. (I got this)
