R1250GSA w/ Bumot and Touratech 45Ltr Panniers and PASQ Shelves, Nanuk 938 Case and Igloo Cooler

I test-installed the new ORANGE Mosko Moto Backcountry panniers on the back of my bike just to see how visible they were and I wasn't disappointed.

The vertical orange molle strip accents popped! I'd put them both on my bike & ride around, but the green/orange combo would blind people... :D

BTDTGTTS Rode 500 miles round trip with only a minor family visit along the way, to buy a K&N filter for a bike.
For the texting illiterate like me, I looked it up for you: BTDTGTTS = Been There, Done That, Got The T-Shirt

And am I to understand that you went 500 miles to buy an oil filter? Ummmm....there's this new thing called online shopping. You should check it out!

Pictures or it didn't happen!

FWIW, I use White Lightning Clean Ride Bicycle Chain Lube White Lightning - Clean Ride™ on the Mosko panniers' plates & receiver plates.

It's a PITA when you get the new plates and have to hammer them out with a screwdriver & mallet, the liquid paraffin makes taking off the panniers a WHOLE lot easier. Highly recommend!

The pillion grab rails have been removed & replaced by the AltRider Rear Luggage Rack for the BMW R1200/R1250 GS AltRider Rear Luggage Rack for the BMW R 1200 R 1250 GS Water Cooled - Silver

Yeah, the garage is a work (always) in process... :D

Love the bags...understated but visable! Not like the "fashionable" neon yellow jacket my wife likes me to wear.

Thanks to the REI anniversary sale,
Here is a quick shot of the new Igloo Latitude 30 rolling cooler.
The other YETI style were heavier and more expensive so I opted for this one.
I don't need 5 days of ice retention so this should work for us.
Between this and the rolling suitcase, we should be able to stack the other pannier bags and roll into the hotel in one trip.
That's the theory anyway.

Here is the same shelf without the cooler mounted.
There are stainless eye bolts on either side and black plastic bungie buddies behind the shelf for attachment points.
I used nyloc nuts on the back.
The eye bolt on the far right also needed a washer as the gap was larger at that point, (thanks to some engineer, no doubt).

Were the eye bolts a Home Depot purchase or McMaster-Carr? Other? I'm not copying your setup, but imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, etc.... :D
