Santa brought me an Insta360 camera. I was fascinated to see how the trap collapses(?) under braking, but in retrospect it makes perfect sense and NOW I know what that feeling is, starting and stopping.
This is a very steep and windy road but seeing it in action, the mechanics of the system makes a good bit more sense to me

That is the most amazing video I have seen of the trap hinge EVER! And we have a ton of them, but they're all from the top with a GoPro.

And what an amazing street to do it on. I've driven that street, but in a car. As soon as you started climbing to the crest I knew exactly where you were and what you were going to do. And I love the slope meter and the elevation reading in the upper right corner!!

Well, it is not THE most crooked street, that is in another part of the city. Topo-down video of that coming as soon as i have time to render it...
