You can have everything you want at Alice's Restaurant...

Army buddy & son went riding with me up to Alice's Restaurant in Woodside, CA Sunday morning. Heavy fog, heavy mist, light rain, pine needles, pine bark, pine mud... made the roads slick as snail snot & covered in dense fog. Not the most fun ride I've had, but I was hauling the ADV1 for fun & non-profit. I parked it where it would get foot traffic & eyeballs, then got immediate attention from the other motorcyclists. Talked to about a half-dozen plus, one was an engineer, highly impressed with the build quality and attention to detail. Oh, and I had taped the front page of the Pasq manual to the top of the trailer so people could take pictures and make contact.

For any of you who don't understand the significance or reference to Alice's Restaurant...here you are. Enjoy!

And PBK, welcome to the "Can't stop without 20 minutes of conversation & questions" club! (CSW2MCQ for you military types.)

Rod, from the absolute VOLUME of posts I've put on this board, you should understand that I'm a chatterbox par excellence. ;-)

I was introverted until I found out that's not as much fun as having conversations with people, and if you get any calls from California, they're either from Tony or me drumming up business for you.

You have my deepest sympathies.

In other news, Led Zeppelin has released a new Live EP and a 50th anniversary deluxe edition of their iconic double-album, Physical Graffiti, on September 12 via Rhino.
