Hi Peter.

That’ll be cool to see what you put together for you and the pooch. With the ADV1, you should have a pretty sweet setup.

I might have passed through you old stomping grounds yesterday. Though I didn’t see much. I’m in Southeast Mass and did my first iron butt ride yesterday. Just went west on I90 through New York until I hit 500 miles, so I went through Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. Then I turned around and came back. My turnaround point was one mile short of the PA border.

Nothing interesting about my background. Had street bikes when I was in college, and after, but gave them up when my kids were born. Picked up a WR250R during Covid and then a Super Tenere shortly after that. Now I’m loving doing BDRs (With the WR) and other moto camping trips with the S10.

Hi, Jim! Congratulations on your IB!! I tried that once a few (10?) years ago but a gastro bug screwed up my schedule... Maybe I'll do it again soon.

I hope your ride wasn't too boring by slabbing the entire way! If you ever get out to this area, let me know and I can show you around. It's really nice to be able to ride 365 days a year! :giggle:

I'm meeting up with Tony out of San Mateo tomorrow AM for the Easter sunrise on Mt Tamalpais, he's one of the ADV1 beta testers and it's on his Tenere. We'll take pics & post, of course!!
